Former NBA and University of Michigan guard Darius Morris⛦ has൲ died. He was 33.
Morris deat♒h was ♑confirmed by a statement from his family. No cause of death was given.
“With great sadness we announce the passing of our dearly beloved son, Darius Aaron Morris,” the Morris faꦓmily told . “During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace.”
Morris, a Los Angeles native, was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers in the second round of the 2011 NBA Draft following a standout career at the University of Michigan. He played two seasons for the Lakers from 2011-13, but spent the 2013-14 NBA season bounc💯ing between the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies. He played his final NBA season in 2014-15 with the Brooklyn Nets.

For his four-year NBA career, Morris averaged 3.3 points, 1.🅠4 assists an☂d one rebound in 11.1 minutes across 132 games, including 17 starts. Following his time playing in the NBA, Morris went on to play professional basketball in China, Russia and France, last playing in 2019-20.
